The company was formed in June 1998 by the present Managing Director Rene Hawkins after his return to the UK after many years running a successful brickwork contracting company in Germany.
The initial business plan was to create a company that could provide the construction industry with a brick/blockwork contractor giving a high level of quality and service to ensure repeat business from it’s clients.
As the company has grown; £0.5m in the first year to £7.5m in 2007; it has proven that the companies ethos has been proved correct.
At Fieldcrown there is a high emphasis on training and re-investment. We are proud to state we have introduced 28 Bricklaying Apprentices to the industry with 2 reaching NVQ L4, to date.
We have successfully completed 350 projects which include airports, sports facilities, HMP Prison, MOD (we hold security clearance passes for vairous trades amongst our workforce) and other large projects.
We have now broadened our scope with Link-Up Approval to provide a continuous service to the railway industry.
